Le Clos des Jacobins

Generally the food was good but the whole meal was spoiled by the unpleasant woman on front of house. Another reviewer mentioned Odile(?), I called her Odile the Odious. She was snotty and had a very glacial manner once we declined aperitifs. From then on she never smiled or made eye contact with us. Her attitude seemed to influence the other staff. Not once were we asked if we enjoyed our food.There was very little atmosphere in the room which was shabby with chipped wooden tables and a carpet with multiple stains. We were both disappointed with the deserts which did not seem to match the complexities of the other two courses. I even thought that I spotted one of the desserts, a savarin thing, in the patisserie nearby. A restaurant that pertains to be of quality should be making their own desserts.Overall a joyless experience and I begrudged paying for it. Take my advice, eat elsewhere.

very average and high price ratio. No dicks. very dark furniture. small portions visibly uneven according to customers (which probably take wine) not a vegetable. potatoes and fries are not good for the price. But the broccoli are seasoned. gravlax is not the gravlax fortunately the lemony cream catches up. quality slightly superior to fast restoration. We have to go somewhere else.

Dining in Le Clos des Jacobins is the equivalent of going in a time machine to many decades ago. If you want to experience some authentic Traditional french restaurant, where nothing is rushed, this place is for you. Service is very polite, seating is very comfortable and spacious, even though total capacity is limited, which highlights the focus on quality vs quantity.

A very good restaurant with a good cuisine. The service is high and the spacious restaurant. I eat very well and I recommend.

good, good service, but expensive for the products offered I find. there are other offers of interessing in the region.
