The Pizzas and Omelettes looked good on the neighbouring tables, but we chose the 17.80 Euro menus, which offered good cooking. I had L'escargots Forestiere, snails cooked in a tasty buttery sauce, out of their shells, and then the Parmentier de Canard (Duck Cottage Pie!) which was very tasty. My wife had Salmon Rillette, served on toast and salad, followed by swordfish (Requin) steak with a delicious risotto-style rice. The main courses could have had a little more seasoning, but diners can always adjust rather than have the chef's tastes foisted on them. For desserts the Tart Tatin had a generous portion of caramelised apples and the Creme Brulee was very creamy!
