Le Colombier - Reservar una mesa

I am a huge fan of Le Colombier. It is always a treat to go there, which my wife and I try to do as often as possible, with the caveat that we do not live in France. The room and service are immaculate yet...it is a relaxed atmosphere. The entrees and desserts are creative, delicious and surprising. Exceptional. The wines are good if not cheap but sensibly plenty are offered in half-bottles. One reservation is that the same creativity does not always apply to the mains, which tend to be in the category of classic dishes, beautifully cooked, so at odds with the other courses. However, none of that tiny apportionment here; helpings are large. One tiny complaint over the roast potatoes, which disappoint as really being pommes vapeur but a bit browner. But this is nit-picking. I LOVE Le Colombier! Cannot wait for the next time unless Brexit ruins travel.

Went to the restaurant with lots of expectation given the 1 michelin star it has and was certainly not dissapointed. Had their larger menu and all dishes were well prepared and very tasteful. Classic French cuisine. Only slight let down were the desserts which somehow...never hit the roof. Excellent wine selection and very good service. Restaurant is located in a very old house, just adding atmosphere and style. Well worth a visit and trip.

Again surprised how a local restaurant mat provide a such a deliacate menu. Nice balance between the acid and sugar in all the menues served. If tou love local food of quality you need to stop by. Bot a formal setting for this fotmal menue...of local food

we loved everything about this unique and beautiful place. eating was delicious, the environment tastefully decorated while it was comfortable and the wine was excellent. I would highly recommend this place.

if you like this kind of structure , this one is a must as it is one of the largest ever built and it is well preserved.
