the novelty since this year: the opening of a wine bar in the very heart of this cellar. a brilliant idea that delights consumers with a choice of wines and beer quite wide, the pro advices in bonus, a small, well-appointed room very charming and contemporary, and original and tasteful tapas: salted cannelés (3 different fragrances,) Italian brushetta, trio of tapenades. The flavors are here. On the dessert side, they also use the free pastry of pessac. We're having fun and it's helping local trade! In short, the hotel was able to accommodate the absence of a kitchen and offers a very pleasant tasting in the evening on pessac. a redo !seul point negative : the tickets restaurants are not yet accepted, but after discussion with the holder, we know that it will soon change.
I and my husband found this bar by chance, when we took a tram to Pessac. The interior and the great choice of spirits, wine and beer have impressed us. It is obviously, that everything was carefully selected and there are no random bottles. Everything tells about competence of staff and high quality of goods.The barman with a cute beard (later was found out, that he works as a sommelier ) let us try a local red wine from Pessac, though the bar was closed for degustation. Also he told about the traits of this wine and Pessac area. We enjoyed our short stay there and bought few bottles with a pleasure.
Very friendly and dynamic wine cellar: filled with wines and beers that can be accompanied on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening, of the famous "special plate" of benoit, while continuing to speak with murielle of the wine we taste, and of the one we will soon taste. festive evenings with producers...We highly recommend...without moderation.
