Le Comptoir de Seb

Now Le Comptoir de Seb is our place in Le Tholonet thanks to the open evenings and lunch. None of the other restaurants in the city can beat it for value. At noon the large salad plates are always good, steaks... are high quality meat, served with sides of baked potatoes and vegetables. Friendly and efficient service from Seb and his staff. Excellent desserts and coffee. Every day there are one or two specials of the day. Reserve for lunch as it is popular, less known for today at night.

En voyage d'affaire j'y suis aller manger 2 soirs de suite j'ai pu constater la qualité et la fraicheur des produits. Tout était délicieux, poir ma part cela à était le wojnk de poulet, l'entrecote, le vin gourmand (plateau de frolage avec un verre de vin) et café gourmand. Les plats étaient et appétissant et au gouts on obtient ce que l'on attend, un délisse. Par contre le bémol est au niveau de la note a la fin du repas.

This restaurant doubles as a special food shop (front) focusing on cheese and ham (hardened and fresh). The dining area is at the back. There is also a small walkway terrace. Everything we tasted, especially the house made pasta, was excellent. Service, while very...friendly, was slow — additional waiting staff would be a great help. This casual bistro is highly recommended.

This restaurant has recently changed hands. We preferred Seb's version. Prices are still reasonable, but the salads are smaller and service much less professional. Tables near us were bad with crumbs and spills still obvious. Less choice in the daily menu. Other...You liked the steak option, but we chose light fare. My pasta with seafood was okay, but not special.

I just wanted to have an afterwork drink, but turned out to order a meal, as all meals served looked delicious. The waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. My burger was very good. Can recommend it clearly! Good food in a relaxed environment.
