This is a small restaurant in Menthon and well situated as it is not far from the castle. I would probably rate it one of the best restaurant around Annecy for quality/price. Definitely in my top 5 restaurant of all time.The host is charming and makes you feel like home. She is oenologist and can suggest you the best wine that will go with your meal.There is not a lot of choices however what the cook does, he does it with perfection. I cannot recommend enough the duck for entrance and the lamb for middle plate. They will melt in your mouth.Overall this is a real nice place with great food and if you ever visit the lake of Annecy, you should book a table in this restaurant.

This is a lovely little place! The menu is small but interesting. The service is personal without being overbearing. We opt for a glass of wine with every course and it was the first time in France that I was served a proper glass of wine. They are not stingy with their wine. The food is lovely and beautifully presented. We probably spend a little more than we wanted to, but the full menu at 32 Euros was truly worth it.

This is just such a special restaurant with excellent food, the owners are a husband and wife team who ensure satisfaction, a small but good menu to suit everyone, without a doubt a favourite restaurant in the region, make sure you book in good time, not to be missed and it's very affordable. The Fois Grois is first class, we loved our visit.

Small, but seriously nice restaurant. Very friendly couple running the place, and the food is heavenly! Remember to book table well in advance!

Great atmosphere and friendly owners. Food was fantastic. Only problem is to get a table, order a few weeks in advance!
