This restaurant is tucked away and it was a friend from Harrogate that recommended it. It was our 20th wedding anniversary and we had had a 6 hour journey so were tired and hungry. The restaurant did not disappoint. We had delicious authentic French dishes and were really looked after. We were recommended a wine by Dominic which was perfect and our starters came out quickly ahead of the 2 bigger parties that were dining. Despite the 2 big parties our service remained attentive. My husband's leg of duck was delicious and the prices for the set menu were fantastic value. I saw various critiks and decided to give him a shot and young we were not disappointed we had wonderful appetizers of shrimp cocktail and goat cheese bruschetta, which were both delicious and the fruit of the beer, as recommended by a previous diner. perfect try this is a fabulous restaurant there is a walk and it could end, yr favorit!
This was our second meal this year at Le D2 as the French ambience is just right. Excellent choices in the set Dinner and good quality wine to accompany the food. The staff are willing to help and advise with choices. The cooking was of an exceptionally high standard and, overall, extremely good value. A very enjoyable evening.

I've had many meals at Le D2 and we were so impressed with it that our son held his wedding reception lunch there four years ago.
Had a damn good steak in here. The chef cooked it perfectly (Blue). Clean and welcoming with reasonable pricing
D2 is a new restaurant in Harrogate, close to the international conference centre, and the car parks.
