Le Dandy Bar Restaurant

The place is well located in Val Thorens and easy to find.We came in a bit early (18:30) but relaxed with something to drink in a relative calm enviroment until 19:55 when the waitress (and also operating the bar) found a suitable table for the 4 of us.The menu simple, sushi, pizza or burgers (+/-) 3 of us went for the Sushi deal, 76 pieces for 128 Euro.The waitress told us in advance that they had special combo with "foie gras" and cheese sushi - as well as strawberry and cheese, but that did sound like something new and potentially interesting.In hindsight I should have noticed that the kichen only had ONE guy working, and when the 76 pieces of sushi arrived only 10min after our order I go...

la question est comment peut on oser appeler ce restaurant un restaurant à sushi? ,nous sommes des amateurs de restaurant japonais en tout genres dont les sushis et je crois que c'est dans cet endroit que j'ai mangé les pires sushis de ma vie !!!!(que se soit au niveau du riz que du poissons,je crois quand même que le riz a été un grand moment de solitude et de desespoir),et en plus très cher pour ce que c'est.Allez y boire un verre ca sera mieux.....Je trouve l'ensemble de ces avis bien complaisant.

Slechtste sushi ooit. We zijn echt geen moeilijke mensen maar zoals dit hebben wij het echt nog nooit gehad. We hadden vrij optimistisch door de goede reacties op TripAdvisor 40 stukjes (Rolls) sushi besteld De rijst was gewoon een soort deegbal, leek uit de vriezer te komen. Ook de wasabi was knoerthard... vriezer? Wij eten bijna wekelijks sushi's maar dit is echt niét goed. Bestel lekker iets anders maar laat de sushi achterwegenBediening was wel vriendelijk.

Wir wollten ganz wo anders hin und landeten bei Le Dandy. Super Bedienung, 5* Küche. Es hat uns alles was auf den Tisch kam sehr gut gefallen, leider haben wir nicht alles fotografiert. Super Dessert Auswahl, vorallem ist der Nutella Tiramisu sehr zu empfehlen.

We have eaten here twice now and the food is good and plentiful. Service was quick and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. I did hear that the restaurant is to close for next year. Shame. It was very handy for the apartments in Le Sabot de Venus.
