Best thing is they gave us an annex with 2 bedrooms together in a newer, uglier section but we were the only rooms on the floor and there was a lift. We could close the main door and have private access between the two rooms... with difficulty as the doors are heavy with strong auto closing. Not easy if you have young kids! Brand newly renovated so bathrooms were TINY but perfect, and shower was huge in our bedroom smaller in the twin room. But the twin room was bigger with a good desk. Hotel itself was a little less than we expected and the rooms were tight. I don't understand why this establishment is listed in "big greedy" on the michelin guide? frankly disappointing, we took the first menu (at 37 euros anyway!) and were very disappointed: in the entrance of the sty-jaccal shells (it's not really the season of elsewhere.) very small and too cooked accompanied by chorizo (there were too many), then the wild boar that was too cooked and so too dry and drunk in the end, as to the dessert to the chocolate there was nothing a lot to see in the kitchen so, especially at this price! I was going to forget the aperitif with a cup of champagne billed 13 euros and the coffee as well as the herbal teas at 5 euros room. reception and service remain on aver...

We had gone to dinner two years ago, and we were truly delighted by our evening, both in terms of the reception and the chef's kitchen.Unfortunately on this day of Easter it was not the case. The welcome on our arrival was freezing and the waitress in charge of our table was also.As for the kitchen, certainly the plates were beautiful, well presented, may in taste it missed a little I don't know what to whip our taste buds. It was a day without. pity...But please a smile to welcome and accompany the guests during their tasting would be welcome.

expensive hotel that has nothing special beautiful room (room number 11) but attention to the dust especially behind the TV. No chausson and no bathrobes in the room .. damage that the maintenance agent's room is right next to the room of the coup in the morning there are a lot of door slams .. regarding the hotel's bar I am surprised that it closes as early ( 23:30, especially on a Saturday night. we stayed at the hotel and also dinner. the pleasure menu of the market at 38€ with entrance, dish, cheese, dessert is a beautiful interpretation of local products. everything is very fine and well balanced. I recommend fish dishes with delicious cooking and sauces. just a small flat on desserts that are not at the same level.

Soon to the best Western, I saw myself offering the restaurant juxtaposed at the hotel.Mention speciale on the menu at 25 euros delicious!!!A huge thank you to the server that made me go down the famous caen-style tripes. a marvel!bref, super address very classy. an irreproachable service.

that was our first station in the normandie. good service, comfortable bed, good shower. the breakfast was standard fair, well presented with good service. location convenient to reach with the car. university area with many good eating close
