The good points: the staff were polite and the hotel was generally clean The bad points: The hotel was mid renovation which was not made clear at booking. Only after I had paid (non refundable I got an email saying they restaurant and leisure facilities were closed. When I arrived there was bare concrete on the floor and confusing signage to the rooms (the signs were on the floor and not pointing the right way for the room numbers! Apart from that, the whole hotel was very hot. I had to open my window in the room but the cleaner always closed it so it was hot again when I got back. It was uncomfortable for sleeping and the air con was both ineffiecient and VERY noisy. The room was very noisy...
Visited hotel as part of a local car rally. Staff were argumentative, non caring nor helpful. Food was standard fare with less than standard quality with a larger than standard price. Hotel is of good quality, rooms, pool etc but staff let it down. Make sure you stand your ground if you want to change rooms (ground floor is best) as at first there are none available but by standing firm a much better room became available.
Restaurant decor is very smart and modern. Staff welcoming and pleasant. Quite a long wait before we were asked for our drinks order and food menus arrived a while later. There did seem to be a long pause between service. Sunday lunch set menu was good choices. Food served with style and was not large portions very tasty. Drinks were expensive. Would recommend and we shall return.
Large hotel with lots of rooms and huge parking which is an asset. The hotel is located near Colmar and requires to take the car to get to the old town. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. Breakfast and dinner in the form of buffets offer a wide choice of dishes but the price is a little high for us who are not big eaters. I recommend this hotel. Reserva una mesa ahora
