Le Diplomate In Wash

Le Diplomate is an extreme disappointment. I went with 5 of my coworkers for dinner Thursday night. First, they completely forgot one of my coworkers meals. Second, we split the bill an even six ways. My card was charged twice and my coworker wasn’t charged at all. As a coworker group, the person who was charged is not somebody I can just ask to “venmo me” (they’re a VP and I didn’t notice the charge until checking my bank statement days later). Finally when 3 of us tried to order a final drink at the bar before we went home we were treated rudely by bar staff before being completely ignored. We let without getting served at all. Absolutely unacceptable behavior for a place that is supposed...

This burger. Let me tell you about this beautiful work of art. It's an ode to the Big Mac, and it's worth ever penny. Go. Here. Now. Aside from the burger, the steak frites and other French classics are executed well. Service is beyond good. It gets loud and busy, so grab a res or expect a wait...but go. Update: five years later, and still going strong Just went for yet another birthday burger celebration, and we are never disappointed. In fact, I was actually introduced to the salad verte as an appetizer it was as simple as is was amazing. A few froze's to match and polished off our burgers with some profiteroles! Thank you, Le Dip!

Awesome burger and fries. You get complimentary bread with your meal. I loved the fact that the butter was soft and could actually be spread on the bread. Everywhere you go they give you frozen butter that doesn’t even spread properly. Loved this attention to detail. Loved the ambience. Will visit when in DC again

We went on a Friday night and they were able to seat us right away. We sat in one of the outdoor booths because we had our puppy with us. They treated him like a little prince and made sure he had lots of pets, water and treats. Food was delicious but portions were on the smaller side. Reserva una mesa ahora

This place is first class , an absolutely french establishment set down in the heart of DC. Everything is authentic except the service is way way better than one would normally expect in Paris. Food is top class, wine list is excellent and caters to all wallet sizes.

Delicious burger and fries! I see the hype haha August 2024.. Stopped in for a late night bite and everything was delicious as well as fantastic service! Definitely a must eat for your DC trip.
