Le Douglas - Reservar una mesa

Endorsed by the receptionist at our hotel . . . we'd asked for bar, it was as simple as that. Le Douglas has seating outside but the weather was warm, too warm for us, inside we went. Douglas proved to be a friendly, welcoming bar. My wife chose a cocktail, which went immediately to her head, my choice a beer. A small dish of olives appeared. We had an hour to wait until dinner, a second round was ordered, a small red, another beer, another dish of olives. The bar began to fill with friendly locals, we people-watched, the hour flew buy. Recommended to those who like a little bar, lovely cocktails, good beer and the locals.

Small bar, ideal for afternoon / early evening drinks.Plenty of different beers and wines to chose from.Seating outside just right to watch the world go by.Quite a lot of students/youngsters in early on but not rowdy, just French!Watch the prices, they don't seem to be consistant.

Great staff, huge choice of bottled and draught beers, spirits and wines. The locals are friendly and some are keen to practice English and all are tolerant of schoolboy French We love going back

nice pub, one of the few places of watchhouse opened late in the evening. Well done. small sausages offered at the cup to accompany drinks

a very good address on watches, a pleasant bar, a friendly welcome, a choice of exceptional beers
