We live just 5 mins. from the restaurant and eat there nearly every Thursday evening. The owners are now good friends and sometimes dine at our home.The place is simple, unpretentious, inexpensive and friendly. Very busy with work folk at lunch time can be busy in the evenings during the summer season, Sometimes this is the only place open in town so in the height of summer book in advance. Closed Tuesdays and Sunday lunch.The pizzas are excellent, thin and well topped. They come in a wide variety. The other foods are limited in number but good. The chips are my constant choice with a preserved duck leg! My wife adores the lasagne. Wine is reasonably priced. The service is warm and rapid. Some (sufficient) English and Spanish are spoken (if you need an English menu ask, I translated it!).This is not high class dining it is good, genuine food at an appropriate price.If you see my wife and I in our usual corner with an Airedale Terrier under the table come and say "Hello".

Since my previous review the owners have made some changes to the décor and a few to the menu.A new bar has been installed and there are now two banquettes where the floor has been closed in over a former cellar stair case. This creates a greater feeling of openess such that, together with a new paint job and a huge mirror, there is a sense of light and spaciousness.Homemade chips are now provided and they are scrumptious.

A large group of friends and I had a lovely meal which was excellent valuenlast week. The service was great, warm and helpful and the pizzas were great particularly the calzone. Highly recommend a visit

Budget restaurant with a decent selection of standard fare. Good service and value for money. Other plus point, it's always open, even when a lot of the other places are closed.????

Ordered entrecôte steak, it arrived with chips no veg or salad, a poor show but the steak was nice. The waiter spoke good English and very pleasant.
