Le restaurant est beau, avec un beau décor simple mais les tables sont trop collées et bcp de bruit... ils ont une salle qui peut être utilisée pour groupe ...c'est un apporter votre vin donc facture moins salée, nous avons pris un plat principal, bavette de boeuf avec une bonne sauce , et pour moi, magret de canard, les deux assiettes étaient servies avec gratin dauphinois et légumes, assiettes bien présentées et Mike est très sympathique , bon serveur et conseille la clientèle .. par contre , un peu long dans le service mais bon on avait le temps ...le dessert fut crème brûlée au café , tout à fait délicieuse et spéciale. .. la facture était de 72 dollars avant pourboire mais nous avions a...
my wife and i tried this restaurant on the south shore after buying a coupon. we both enjoyed the dining experience enough that we will return coupon or not. my wife had the calf liver while i ordered the tiger shrimp. both meals were excellent, my wife is hard to please and she indicated the liver melted in her mouth. i would also recommend the cheesecake for dessert when you go. the menu is reasonably priced for the meals you are receiving.
Le service à été excellent. Les tables sont trop collées les unes aux autres. Les cadres de beignes, crêpes..Seraient plus appropriés dans un déli. La tarte aux oignons caramélisés est excellente. Le tartare goûtait beaucoup les noix ...Crevettes César et bavette pas assez gouteuse. Par contre l' assiette de fromages m' a impressionnée, bonne portions, Oka, brie, bleu et chèvre avec noisettes..Dans l' ensemble bien.
We were 4 at the table. Tables are set pretty tight so there is not much place to be "cosy".Prices are definitely high for what you get, although is was generally good but not necessarily hot.We still had a good time. Started out with corn potage, very nice tasty but a bit salty. Next prosciutto and melon was good actually, main course piripiri chicken ,sauce pretty good chicken itself was puny at best , veggies basic, potatoes tasteless. Cheesecake was good. Overpriced but friendly service. Won't go back.
I love good food !! I also appreciate good service, as well not being rushed out of a restaurant- Le Fagotin is all this and much more.. The chef's enjoy their work and you can tell by the great taste of every course...plus the bonus is that it's a Bring Your Own Wine!!! What a gem !!
