My wife and I have now been to Le Flaveur three times and I have to say that it’s been a special experience every time. The food is really interesting and one thing I applaud is that the menus, which differ significantly in price, aren’t up selling to you i.e. they haven’t filled the cheapest menu with boring options to drive you to the more expensive ones. The service is really attentive and the male waiter, who we’ve had on each of the visits, takes pride in walking you through the dishes on the menu in very good English. The luncheon menu, at 37 Euros, is fairly priced for the innovative and flavorful dishes. The dishes are small, but satisfying and artistically presented. The dining room is rather austere and the restaurant is down a bland alleyway of a street. But it is worth finding. Beyond the dozens of creperies and many high priced but predictable seafood restaurants in this town, if you are looking for creative cuisine, this venue should be high on your list.

Extraordinarily beautiful restaurant. The chef-owner creates exquisite dishes with locally-sourced ingredients. The service is very friendly, and the wine list small but very nice. It's very small, and reservations are essential, but it is a fabulous stop.

Run by husband and wife team. At lunch time the menus spread from €29/€37.50/€57. Best food we’ve had in 6 weeks visiting many restaurants around France (cote d’Azur, Provence, Dordogne, Loire, and including N. Italy, Sardinia). Highly recommended.
