This restaurant is not in a prime downtown location at all...Its a bit off the beaten path, but not difficult to get to by car at all. The setting totally works really well.The restaurant is located in a residential house that has been converted into a great Bistro. I sat outside by the pool. Literally. There are tables set up all around the swimming pool in the front yard. It is very peaceful and has a laid back, but a kind of hip feeling to it.Service was friendly, genuine and very helpful. The recommendation for wine was perfect. The beef carpaccio appetiser was one of the best carpaccios that I have ever had (and I have had many). Le Fleuret is a wonderful local place for authentic French food in Pessac. Everything from the warm welcome of the staff, particularly Clement, to the interactions with the Chef were wonderful and added great color to a beautiful September evening in a great section of France.
