The boss is a friend of a friend, it was absolutely necessary that you discover this bar restaurant! It's done, simple and warm welcome, music at the top, I love rock! Helene, the boss, is super, nice, professional and welcoming as jef/pamela and his other server, change nothing! new visit on Sunday noon for the famous helene burger! Steaked generous home! Went in by chance fairly late in the evening (Swiss/English family with 4 teenagers). Had a great evening - really attentive service (waiter made ice tea for 2 of the kids in a cocktail shaker because they don't sell it - was delicious). Atmosphere was excellent - very relaxed, talkative and friendly and felt quite Bohemian. The real star were the burgers - 5 of us had different burgers and they were outstandingly good - totally unexpected. Situated on the right side of the estuary This small bar resturant always has a warm welcome from the owner every time we go.The food is good value for money as is the bar. It has a typical french feel about it. I would recommend you vist this bar next time you are in Doelan. Well behaved dogs welcome at owners discretion .
