Lovely restaurant and the croque monsieur and croque madame we ordered were very good. The problem was our waitress. She sat us and took our order and we never saw her again. I had to flag down other waiters for water, wine, the dessert card, etc. Other guests were taken care of but she totally blew us off. I could see her at the bar chatting with the bartenders and on her phone. That 's the trouble with tip included . There is no incentive to care. We did not go back.
After a good 1/4 hour walk in the streets to find a restaurant open on Sunday noon, we fell on this beautiful brewery. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the rather modern frame for a brewery. A beautiful height under ceiling. On the map, the classics of the brewery presented to the taste of the day. Fresh and quality products. The dishes are generous, made home for most and perfectly executed. However, we regret a slow (but very friendly) service.
We were wandering Issoire looking for somewhere to eat at lunch time and came across Le Français. We entered and were greeted with a huge smile from everyone! We were shown to a table in the window. Both having the plate of the day which consisted of high quality food which was very presented and tasty. Great value for money with a good, clean environment. The toilets were very clean too. Visit here and you won't be disappointed.
