This is a fun, alpine chalet style place with a crowd pleasingly wide menu and hard working staff. My wife and I were recommended it by our hotel and we were glad to have gone for dinner. We had the €32 Galete menu 3 courses with three choices for each. If you choose to, you can cook your own main course at the table. Portions were good and the food was fresh and well presented. At €85 total for two, including 3 glasses of local wine and a bottle of sparkling water, we felt it was good value. The only fly in the ointment (NOT the restaurant’s fault) was the large table of very noisy young British kids next to us. Come on, English parents, keep your children out of earshot.
We were delighted to eat a real savoyard fondue in this place, a cottage in the city hidden in the trees, a splendid setting, a perfect service, everyone has a smile, no wait, it was delicious and much compious for 21 euros pers, we couldn't finish! They eat these mountaineers!!!All grilled meats are made with wood fire it is awesome! a tip: booked your table because the restaurant is quite popular. If you don't support the smell of cheese, there is a very nice terrace. ..
I had been meaning to go here for along time and finally managed it on our last trip to saint gervais. It was super from start to finish the whole experience from the amazing service to the wonderful food cooked over a wood fire in front of you, not cheap but worth it for a special treat .
lovers of savoyards served in a wooded room style old mountain chalet, go ahead, you will not be disappointed. The welcome is more than very nice. the warm setting. Everything's here to spend a good time with the family.

We loved this place, just reflecting the very spositive comments. a warm welcome and good spirit, very well eaten (fried meats with the best polenta of my life. We'll definitely go back.
