Le Goeland 1951

Having been taken here by friends last year we decided to visit on our own .We eventually found it , even Tomtom couldn't .Only had a beer and a cocktail but the location is perfect looking out over the Isle of Tatihou .Since last year have added additional seating set into the embankment in front of restaurant which is quite novel .

Had a great lunch here with friends. Limited choice but all beautifully prepared and fresh. The Turbot was especially good and all served by an enthusiastic staff. Only downside was 2 days later the menu had not changed! Despite that, we hope to go back to this beach side bar that also does great food. Highly recommended!

We only stopped for a drink on this occasion but from looking at the great plates of food being produced for the lunch crowd, this is a place to return to. Situated in an old German bunker overlooking the beach, it is a great setting and must be a lovely place for a sundowner. I look forward to returning.

Fun atmosphere. Normal food but limited choices. We were expecting mussels in the menu but just had oysters. Maybe three meat choices and three fish dishes. Good for lunch warm to sit outside. Casual.

Great pork and salad dish, stunning white wine, amazing views, what a very cool beach diner this is. Please go.
