Le Gourmand De Szechuan

Atmosphère ordinaire et lieu ayant besoin d'un bon rafraîchissement. La nourriture est OK mais cela manque un peu de croustillant ( nous avons pris du boeuf à l'orange et Poulet général Thao), il semble que ces produits ont été fait bien avant notre visite car nous avons trouvé la texture molle. Le prix, selon la qualité des mets, est bien mais avec des textures plus acceptable il serait plus acceptable.Le prix et le choix des vins nous laisse froid. Cela serait bien pour un soir de semaine mais avec des prix qui sont près de $80.00 pour 2 avec du vin......cela reste dispendieux. Et pour une destination week end...... je connais de bien meilleurs table pour le prix.

When "Le Gourmand Hot & Spicy" closed over a year ago, I started a search to find a replacement for my Szechuan cravings. I came across this restaurant, "Le Gourmand de Szechuan" in St-Sauveur. I was very pleased!I went with my fiancee for dinner on a Friday night, there were a few customers in the restaurant but no crowd, per se. We ordered the table d'haute and it was a perfect combination of dishes to try. We had WonTon soup, peanut butter dumplings, General Tao Chicken, Hunan Beef and szechuan shrimps.I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will absolutely go back!

The restaurant building itself is nothing to look at compared to other buildings in the village but I have learned in my travels ... never judge the book by the cover. The fact that lots of people eat there is a good indicator of the quality of the food and while not full, there were many patrons. During my week in the area I ordered take out twice ... my favourite item was the orange beef ... absolutely delicious! Staff is welcoming and very attentive both in the restaurant and in the take out area. I would eat here again.

4 of us for dinner, lots of food! Everyone very full and we had a doggie bag with leftovers to take home. Not busy, went for a later dinner. Good service, very friendly. We made some changes with no additional cost. We had the dinner package for 4-6 people, not on the menu but saw it online. They happily brought that choice out on a diffferent piece of paper. We even had their countries home town beer. Very good. House wine was good and very cheap.

We have being ordering take out from le Gourmand de Szechuan for years and the quality and quantity is always the same. A great take out place, when you just finished a hard week of work and all you want his to get home sit in front of your fireplace and enjoy a wonderful meal with your love one.

Dîner sur la terrasse avec mon conjoint...Menu du dîner ...Service correct, nourriture bonne...très abordable...pas eu la possibilité de prendre des vermicelles de riz au lieu du riz ...surprenant car ce choix existe, habituellement dans ce genre de Restaurant...Pour un dîner c'est OK ....

Depuis la disparition du Chrysanthème, ce resto est notre relais pour une bonne bouffe à la maison. nous faisons livrer et nous partageons les différents plats. Pas excellent, mais acceptable.

Nous y allons au moins une fois au 2 semaines, tres beau menu du midi à prix abordable, raviolis à la vapeur excellent, tres bon service, belle ambiance terrasse l'été

Excellent service et nourriture fraiche. Personnel très courtois. La table d'hôte est tout simplement délicieux. Les crevettes un délices. Je le recommande a tous.

The food is usually good as for the service but the place would need a major revamping. Great for table d'hôte lunch, not to expensive.
