We went for lunch on the spur of the moment and decided to eat inside rather than on the patio because of the heat. The place seems popular with businessmen so delays could happen at busy times ; there is a 'menu express ' if you...are in a hurry but we opted for a 'normal ' three course meal [22 Euros, ie not expensive]. Hence I cannot say HOW 'express ' it is. Service was enthusiastic and polite rather than expert, but the meal was good. The restaurant is effectively in a suburb of Dieppe ; anyone going for the ferry and wanting a last French meal should consider it. It must have changed ownership as the food was very poor. On a previous Sunday visit the place was packed and the food good, but on this occasion it was empty, bar 4 tables, and the food very disappointing. The Sunday Gourmand lunch menu at...30€ was chosen, for which a starter of mushroom profiteroles was just mulch and I had left most of it on the plate, followed by entrecote steak which was literally 3mm thick. like a minute steak. A pudding tasted as if it had come from Carrefour supermarket readymade. It is understandable how they have most of their custom, so sad.
I had been looking for a restaurant for lunch on the way from Paris. This address caught my eye online. I was a little disappointed in the end. I had expected something really wonderful The service was very slow, especially considering that... the restaurant wasn't full! The menu was a good value for money, but my Entrée was on the fat side. The main dish (fish) was however very tasty. I'd go back to give him another chance as they might have a day off. The decor is something too antiseptic and modern for my taste, they could do something to make it more comfortable.
Service very slowly with inadequate staff numbers. Food is served with appropriate portions, but in the style of Nouvelle Cuisine. For example, the lukewarm soup had a slight dusting of something or other around the edge of the dish. The well-sized part of the salmon was served on a bed of cabbage and covered with goat cheese with the mandatory acorn of a brownish sauce that the cook is an artist. on the advice of a person, we went to this restaurant and we were not disappointed, it does not pay a mine from the outside but it is necessary to pushed the door!!! very good quality price,just a small reproach there is no booster for the little ones and the drink was not included in the child menu. it has bcp surprised us it is rare. otherwise nothing to say! products and quality and very fresh as well as the reception discretion and friendliness are at the rendez-vous.
A warm greeting from the owner on arrival. Very good and efficient service. Good choice of menu offers a range of prices. We chose both the gourmand menu, the three courses offered a number of local dishes prepared with fresh local ingredients. The fish...Kasserole was fabulous as the Tarte Normande.
