There are multiple options for lunch in the beautiful center of Beaune - this is a good choice for simple, good French cooking. We had Beouf Bourguignon, of course - delicious. The service was efficient but, as elsewhere in France, no-one minds if you just sit and talk. No-one constantly interrupting to ask if you are still "working on it"; no-one rushing to clear you plate the second you pout down your fork - everyone here seems to understand that the point is to have a meal, conversation, and build relationships and that constant interruptions hinder that.
Terrible experience with a long wait before being served (we actually had to stand up to get attention). Drinks came along with a normal pace but when we ordered food didn't only receive frozen croque monsieur but we had no acknowledgement when asking for a heat.And to finish with it all, the waitress took for ever to make us pay as if she didn't want us to leave. A really bad souvenir in such a beautiful region and town and with a great location wright under the sun. A TRUE WAST FOR THE INDUSTRY
We arrived after they had finished serving but the server came and offered to make us some food. Not bad when we were talking about what to do instead. She offered hamburgers but said yes to croque monsieur when my wife asked. Then she even discussed what she could do for my dad who is allergic to wheat.When I left my umbrella behind they looked after it behind the bar. Nice guys.Yes, it's a basic cafe but it is a nice basic cafe. Thanks guys.
Had a drink lunchtime on market day, when most of the other cafes would only serve you if you were eating. Returned for a early evening meal. The meals were reasonably priced and tasty, good cafe food. The service was friendly and quick. The location is central and car parking spaces can be found nearby on non market days or early evevning! Found a disabled car parking space closeby after the market stalls closed.

Arriving late in Beaune this was one of the few places still serving dinner. We had a burger and the tagliatelle bolognaise at a reasonable price which were both well cooked and nicely presented. However staff not very attentive (even forgot to bring us the bill!) and overall we could have done better.
chosen a little by chance because we are passing on beautiful, we took the burgundy beef with a wine from the high coasts of beaune in pichet of 25cl. Everything was good. reception and pleasant service. The room is good. No regret.
After visiting l"hospice de Beaune we were hungry but were not in the mood for something sophisticated or another wine tasting. We ate a simple burger with fries with wine and it was indeed all we were looking for.
value really average price with fries frozen for example, but a friendly staff, on this point, I have no negative comment. It's not the restaurant I always recommend.

This is the second time we have eaten dinner here and enjoyed it both times. Restaurant fairly basic and small tables, but loved the boeuf bourguignon.
