This was our 3rd visit to Le Grand Colbert and we were very disappointed. The restaurant decor and ambience is stunning and a must to go and just sit there and have a meal there. BUT don't expect the food to be good! The service was terrible considering the restaurant was a quarter full. It took 20 minutes to get our order taken! The fresh foie gras was the only FRESH thing we had. As other reviewers have written the food is obviously pre-prepared as there are so many choices on the menu. A good restaurant that cooks good food only has about 5 choices on the menu so then you know the food is prepared fresh. le grand colbert leapt to world fame by hollywood and very deserved has it. is a restaurant with excellent facilities, with everything you think you should have a Parisian place. the service is chord and the food is good, good French. prices are very reasonable considering everything you provide (good food, very good service unmatched: environment, facilities, decoration and elegant kindness)I think a visit to paris deserves a drop, feel very good, enjoying some traditional soups in this beautiful restaurant.

the restaurant is not only beautiful but the food is exceptional and the service was perfect. have a very complete and very affordable day dish (plate to choose between 2 dessert coffee) to 19 euros.
A terrific meal and a beautiful setting. The service was good but wasn't excellent. Everything else was. After the meal you can take a stroll through the Royal Palais and on to the Louvre.
