Le Grand Saule - Reservar una mesa

Driving along in a snowstorm last weekend, we came across this restaurant. We hadn't eaten and it was a little past lunchtime so we weren't sure whether we'd be able to order food. Although my partner is fairly fluent in French, we weren't entirely sure what the plat du jour was - it was the only food available (as it was rather late) so thought we order it anyway... It was utterly delicious! Provençal vegetables with pommes dauphinoise and beautifully cooked chicken in a deliciously creamy sauce...a very welcome and enjoyable break! Recommended!!!

I do not usually write reviews but I had to recommend this place on the beautiful scenic Route Napoleon. The food was excellent and reasonably priced for tasty fresh local produce and homemade everything. The decor is charming with a huge inviting terrace. The owners were most welcoming and the service was very professional and quick even though the place was busy. This is France at its best...

This place is a must try! I had the oxtails, greens, black eyed peas and peach cobbler The food is so darn good and you can tell it's made with love.

The place is cool The okra with the tomatoes was the best thing on my plate I literally should have gotten double potion sooo goood .

We've been to Rosie's before while traveling through this part of the stateIt was so good we came back.
