La Clusaz is a cute resort which is a village rather than a concrete estate stuck in the mountains. We were a group of 14 skiers manly French with a couple of Brits. We fancied a 'tartiflette' one evening and Le Greenier looked the part being right next to the church in the pretty main square. We booked (essential) and on entry the restaurant looked lovely with a rustic decor and solid wood furniture. The menu was limited to a few local dishes which was fine for us but veggies might struggle with the options. I was disappointed that there were no local beers on offer just the rather boring Heineken and a German brew. We ordered our tartiflette and some local Savoie wine which was excellent. T...

For main courses we had Saumon au four, Entrecote metzger, and the two very hungry and tired from skiing men shared a huge Cote de boeuf (w...

The bar is good. But the fondue was pretty much awful. Really watery...probably worst i ever had. The waitress was unacceptably rude. So obviously will never go back. Would not recommend it to anyone who is looking for good food and service.

Music and ambience great, superb cocktails and very delicious complimentary nibbles. We were there early evening and it was quiet but I imagine it draws in the party crowds later.
