Le Grenier A Sel

We visited Montlucon today and explored the old part of the town with it's winding old street and came uppn Le Grenier a Sel. I had spotted this interesting looking establishment when exploring Trip Advisor beforehand but had not planned to stop here for lunch. What a delight to be able to sit in their tranquil garden and have a wonderful lunch. In addition to the set courses, there was a few bouche surprises. The food was great, albeit vert colorful and thoughtfully presented. Service was good and we enjoyed a relaxing time in the warmth of the day.

eating was better in past. the hotel is renovated and inexpensively ok, the rooms are lovingly furnished and nice. unclear is why the loud ventilation must make at night over krach. the restaurant is gur but unfortunately no longer what it was once. prices are rather happy and derived from previous glamour.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary by having dinner at Le Grenier a Sel and it was well worth the visit. The dishes were outstanding and beautifully presented. We could not have wished for more!!

country room charming bathroom of the 80s but comfortable compared to meals, restaurant to flee exorbitant prices if you do not take the card that has no originality I do not recommend

Very pleasant time for a smooth holiday return. Excellent menu at a very reasonable price. Home friendliness and rdv atmosphere! To be recommended...
