Le Jardin - Reserva de mesa

Needing a meal after a long drive there are very few restaurants open on a Sunday evening in Falaise. We were greeted cordially by the owner. There are two rooms and with three tables occupied there was a pleasant atmosphere. The decor is Greek taverna/Italian cafe style of the 70/80s with rather gaudy murals of village houses, steps and flowers but certainly a talking point. There was an a la carte menu but we opted for the €22.50 three course menu with about 4 choices for each course. A glass of local wine was €4.50 and a Heineken Pression €3.20. we came to dinner in a group (more than 30 people) Friday, May 5 with family and friends and we were very well received in this establishment. the owner is particularly kind and does not hesitate to take into account our particular diets (free of gluten, vegetarian, ...). the kitchen was tasteful, of quality and well presented. we had a few children in the group to which the owner gave coloring to occupy them during the dinner that we had the pleasure to prolong, which was very appreciable. We recommend this address and we will return!

We found ourselves there because the famous patisserie/chocolatier round the corner was still closed. Friendly. Good service. Starters good. Main course white fish with sauce and rice yup, I know that sounds dull but the rice was the best I've ever had. Good home made desert. Worth a visit.

the garden had been strongly advised to us, it is very often full what is guaranteeing good quality, as well as the menu with a limited choice and at all home. We were a little disappointed with the plates, it was good but not enough compared to the price. Reserva una mesa ahora

We have dinner without reservation, the reception is very good. the menu and the kitchen are very good. the only point to improve would be in the mood. A little musical background would be really good. So nobody dares to talk.

a warm welcome, efficient service, excellent menu. Salad in the entrance, then pork stock, all sprinkled with lorry rose, neither too dry nor too sweet. excellent dinner

We didn't plan to eat there, but we didn't regret a second! the dishes are very good, fresh and original. The welcome is very warm.To be recommended without any doubt.

Original plates, perfect beef toy terrine. just a little reproach, garnish on the salad in a slightly light entry. The dessert was good.
