Please ignore the one star I had to give this place. I can't give zero stars, otherwise I would have. It was a busy September 6th and we were a party of 4. We asked a waiter for a table for 4 and were told to find a table ourselves (a warning comment; but we didn't heed the warning-muppets! One of the young waiters was great.! There is the restaurant and there is the big brocante on the same grounds each Sunday. This post applies to both. We have been coming here since 20years, eaten in the restaurant, shopped at the brocante, we even sold stuff on it during several years. BUT, since the restaurant has been taken over, the new owner just destroyed the authentic atmosphere that made this place so special under Madam Arlette’s supervision. Had never heard of this place before; was told Fridays they had good music. So, off we go. I don't remember if the owner even said hello as we came in doubt it. Waitress took orders little by little, never did manage to take our table at once. Had the impression there were lots of regulars who didn't seem to mind it. Nothing to nibble on with drinks, although we finally got bread right before the meals arrived. Food, not reheated enough. Definitely not made on site. Having read previous reviews, I wonder if I went to the same place! The welcome is fantastic, not only the waiting staff but also Arlette, the owner greets all guests personally. Atmosphere is great, sitting under plane trees with live music. Last week jazz, this week reggae. Food excellent and fresh and not formula as in the restaurants on the coast. The choice is small but it changes all the time to suit availability. The aioli on a Friday is delicious and would easily feed 2 people. Please do not be put off by previous reviews, I speak French and know that this restaurant offers real mainly Provencal food,not some predictable dishes that remain the same all summer. We went to the Jas des Roberts as there had been a change of ownership. We were not disappointed! The food was original , the poulpe salad was excellent and copious needing a bit more seasoning like vinaigrette , the andouillette was original and good , the velouté de petits pois avec calamars was very unusual and very tasty, the tiramisu were OK needed some alcohol in it. The owner and his charming wife were very pleasant , humorous and helpful. We will definitely come back again! The chef is excellent! Yes a bit pricey compared with other restaurants in the neighbourhood! Continue improving!
This was een very nice place to have lunch. Now, a year later, the place is been updated . Not bad but there was a charme and thats now translated in a Ibiza style . We have to waith 1 our to order a beer and the same with lunch. 2 beef tartare with.....nothing...... Only meat. Thats not an beef tartare. The bill also not correct. Last time here. Tips: hire some more staff! And make proper food again!
Friendly traveler tip brocante market held here on a Sunday only. Parking is mad so get there early. (It’s free and along the sides of the road) Great vibe with all of the stalls in the trees. You kind of need a bit of french language to haggle as some of it is over priced, defiantly an experience though !!
This market is an absolute must to visit. Dusty, hot and full of the most interesting antiquities and treasures. It's on every Sunday, go early with the family and then have a cool drink in the newly extended cafe on site. You'll definitely come away with a momento of your French trip that's irreplaceable.

Fun Sunday morning browsing the flea market followed by lovely lunch in sunshine. Lovely location and great atmosphere, recommend a visit.
