I live in France, I 've eaten everywhere from Michelin Star places to Mom Pop 's and Routiers. This place is absolutely excellent. A very simple short menu concocted from a few ingredients. My steak (rump) came with just 4 items on the plate, effectively 3 ingredients. Perfectly cooked steak (I like mine Black Blue), the fluffiest Polenta I 've ever eaten, a cooked mushroom duxelle passed through a rough sive to give a pate like texture and a couple of perfectly fried mushrooms. It was served with a small pot of meat/mushroom jus. If you are going to put so few ingredients on a plate, you have to be an excellent chef! on the advice of friends, we found ourselves in this restaurant that I already knew. a simplified map while keeping a varied choice. a kitchen that goes to the essentials, that is to taste at very reasonable prices and a rope service, all in care and kindness. in conclusion, a nice surprise in this restaurant that I will recommend without hesitation
