Love this cafe brasserie which is well situated in Beaupreau with views of the Evre River and the Beaupreau Chateau. Whereas most watering holes of this ilk serve mass production beers, Lion d'Or has always had five exquisitely wrought craft beers plus a beer of the month, and all at reasonable prices. The friendly proprietaire also offers a nice cappuccino and espresso. At lunch, a high quality simple fare is offered, such as today's boudin noir with apples and steak frites. after a walk through the park and that closed we sat for lunch. Unfortunately, the terrace was full, so we ate inside. the lunch special was a good value and decent pub dug. the quality of the meat was good. the children's menus were good burger meat. with chips and we are very good. there was no high chair, but otherwise family friendly. the interieur has a beautiful pub atmosphere and there is a good selection of beers to choose. overall we really enjoyed our lunch.

Petit restaurant situe à l entrée de la ville, à proximité du château. Cuisine familiale et de bonne qualité. Le dos de colin beurre blanc dont la sauce est faite maison est à recommandé. Prix attractif et personnel très agréable. Cela vaut le coup de faire le détour quand on passe dans le Maine et Loire.
Petite terrasse sympathique entre ombre et soleil ! Agréable pour un petit verre à l'occasion entre amis ou en famille
