'A traditional family run restaurant hidden away in the back streets of Antibes'Anybody who is used to coming to France knows that you avoid the main drag when looking for bars and restaurants - If you want to find the real France - where locals eat and drink, where the food and drink is better and cheaper, then you have to look around the back streets. The Lisbon is just waht you are looking for - recently, evening service has been limited - possibly because of family illness, however the lunchtime service is as good as ever.Wednesday is CousCous day - their specialityThursday is PaellaFriday is AolliThe steak tournados are greatchips are lovelywine is cheap and tastywhat more do you need

A bit away from the tourists traps of Antibes, next to the Gendarmerie, is this family run restaurant specializing in couscous - paella - aioli. Service is friendly, even on a busy day. Choice is limited, but all dishes are good. And the value for money is excellent. If I had to stay long in Antibes I would certainly make it my favourite lunch place. Will gladly go back there..

This restaurant has been in the same family for many years. l was a very frequent visitor beginning in the 70's when it used to be call Le Jockey and was situated by the railway station. lt was a very popular place with the young yachties as it was very good value for money. lt still is and if you can get a seat.

I've been going to Le Lisbonne for over 20 years and it is always good. I always come away from my lunch (I've never gone there for dinner) with a great feeling because of the fantastic food and the very friendly service. A family run neighborhood restaurant! The mother is in the kitchen and that lady can cook!!
