this place was recommended by many people and related in the opposite. as we have a gite, we thought it might be nice to try the place before it is recommended! we booked a table for three watches. we arrived on time to wait for a man to take care of us. then the owner brought us to our table. I have to admit, the place absolutely stunning. then we started to wait for the drinks. the karre, very simple, like no real choice, and wait and wait again. mise en bouche came, beautiful and regrettable, nothing to complain, wait and wait again for the starter. foie gras. nice, but not expetional and honest an additional piece of wolves are welcomed as we starved. also no toast, only beautiful local...

We found this restaurant a couple of years ago on recommendation of another restaurant owner and it is a real hidden gem! It isn't well sign posted and doesn't look like a restaurant from the outside, just finding the entrance was a little challenge but...once you walk through the door you find a very charming dining room with fresh flowers on every table. The food is simply wonderful and beautifully prepared. We have visited times now and the quality has been excellent every time. The accommodation is still a work in progress so don't let the external bits put you off. One of my favourite restaurants don't miss it!

This is my fifth visit to this restaurant and it was as good as ever. The owner and waitress both made us feel very welcome and took great pride in the food they were serving us, explaining what everything was and how it was cooked....The food was beautifully cooked and presented, everything we had was delicious! The meal includes an apperitif served with home made cheese, followed by an amuse bouche before the starter. The owner recommended a better wine, at the same price, than the one I had chosen and his recommendation was excellent. all in all a fabulous evening and we will certainly be back on our next visit.

I find that I am not able to get our experience from tonight with the one from the previous reviewer two days ago. the location, greeting, eating, drinking and ambiente were all excellent and good value for money. everything served, was chosen, prepared and presented impeccably. we. have a very pleasant and perfect step three hours while we go down the sun and enjoy a great culinary offer. I personally do not want to be rushed through this meal in less than three hours. slowly down and appreciate the moment.

I think this is the time we have visited this restaurant and it was just as good as every other visit. There are so many small touches that make it such a special place and it is very clear to see the loving pride...that the owners take in making sure every customer has a delightful experience. There was a special Greek Evening on the day we visited with excellent live music. The food was prepared with real care and skill and beautifully presented. We will certainly be back on our next visit.

Having had the best meal ever here several years ago when a friend, who lives nearby, took a party of to Le Manoir for a pre wedding feast, we were keen to eat there again when we visited in September. We were not disappointed....This time we ate out on the terrace overlooking the beautiful countryside. We had yet another fabulous meal and experienced flavours I have never tasted before. We will certainly go out of our way to dine there next September when we visit.

This was a memorable meal in a Manoir which is still work in progress but that merely adds to the atmosphere.the portions are by no means small and the two menus offer outstanding choice.the fois gras was excellent; the pigeon as good as I have...eaten and goats cheese delicious. We were the only diners but the service was full of pride and very thoughtful.when we review our memorable meals at the end of the year this will certainly feature...and we shall return.

Try hard to find this place on a farm to the east of Thiviers. We had a superb dinner here sitting on the terrace overlooking the farm animals and the sweep of the Perigord hills beyond. For the price it is certainly one of the...best meals I've ever had in this part of France (and I've eaten my way through quite a number
