Ate at this restaurant twice during a week-long stay in nearby Peypin, once for dinner and once for lunch, our final meal of the holiday. On both occasions we were greeted warmly by the lady owner and seated immediately even when were 8 for dinner without a reservation. The dinner was very nice (gnocchi with fruits de mer), but if anything the lunch was even better with a lovely anchovy crudite starter, delicious mixed grill and polenta main (with some seriously good aged beef) with dessert or coffee for less than 20 euros. Everything was cooked perfectly and the host could not do enough for us. I'm sure this place has a good reputation with the locals as it does fill up quickly even at lunc...
My third visit to this restaurant whilst staying in La Destrousse. Yes, the prices are a little on the high side BUT the quality is consistently good. I had the carpaccio of beef and my partner had the risotto. Superbly presented and a real gastronomic pleasure. Small but cosy restaurant with a lovely open terrace at the front. Super.
The Marie Coco is a cozy restaurant, with a decoration that's a bit old fashioned. One can argue about style, but one cannot argue with the quality of the food, which is simply excellent! My porc chops with mushrooms and polenta of olives was simply divine. The wine was excellent!! Highly recommended!!

We loved the meal, but he should change the waitress. We went there at 10:00 and she made no effort to bring our tables to the terrace as it was possible. We offered to help her and she refused. The service was done without a smile. What a pity not to make any effort for customers We will not return.
From crossing to the Destrousse at lunchtime, we crossed the restaurant door for the first time. We took the formula of the day. At no time between the entrance and the dessert we were not disappointed with our choice and we were welcomed. We'll go back.
Through Peypin a friend gave us the address of Marie Coco and we were not disappointed. From aperitif to dessert, everything was delicious. Added to this a warm service and everything was good!
