Le Marrakech - Reservar una mesa

Le Marrakech been around about 40 years according to it's owner Mohammad. Nice warm setting in City central of a Limoges. I was expecting better service, better food and a bit of showmanship as I have seen in some other Moroccan restaurant, such as Mataam Fez in Denver Colorado. Unfortunately my fish was spongy and tasted the same as the potato and carrots and bell peppers that was swimming in spicy broth. I like spicy food , this dish was not too hot for me by any means but so much spice that almost grinding in your teeth to the bitterness taste. My friend had a vegetarian couscous, everything tasted the same as mine accept less spicy. The service was fast, too fast for fine dining. From the crowded tables on Tuesday evening 9:30 pm I suspect they have many good dishes . Perhaps an off day for them

Not one for experimenting with food, went to this restuarant with French friends and some trepidation Need not have worried, lovely atmosphere and good plain simple food. Limited menu meat anf veggies all in the middle of the table so get stuck in and enjoy. Now a regular for a night out, food is always of a good quality. Also take vegitarien friend there. Always same quality, even the wine is not too expensive. Staff are multilingual. Decor is very dated but adds to the character. If you fancy a Tajine sister restuarant is around the corner. Already looking forward to next visit

Bel accueil et plats savoureux. Nous sommes venus avec 2 jeunes enfants et avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Un plat a été partagé en 2 belles assiettes pour eux. Nos tajines étaient excellents, saveurs raffinées et service rapide Belle déco marocaine. La salle est petite donc adaptée pour de petites tablées.

Un accueil chaleureux, un service irréprochable par un serveur très sympathique, une cuisine succulente, des quantités pantagrueliques, le tout formant un excellent moment en famille dans une atmosphère depaysante...Nous avons été enchantés et le conseillons vivement.

The food is good, but not spectacular. The lamb is nicely aromatic, merguz not so spicy. The restaurant shares a kitchen with Le Tajine so you can select from both menus. Wine list is limited Great service.
