Le Medieval - Reservar una mesa

We were a large group of English and Germans, with extremely poor French and an age range from babies to the elderly. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us, they were absolutely lovely and made us a table, despite us not having a reservation...when they were busy. The food is extremely good, and reasonably priced. The quality of the ingredients is great, as is the attention to detail of the food, which seemed seasonal. I have now been to this restaurant twice, on two separate holidays, and we have had a wonderful experience. I suspect some of the other tourist reviews may have had issues with language, or honestly perhaps they were just not going into it with the right attitude. Highly recommended.

Our family of five arrived right as the waitress and chef were getting ready to leave. They so graciously welcomed us telling us we probably wouldn't find anywhere else open and we're happy to serve us. We felt bad making them fire up the kitchen...again but any regret we had disappeared as we consumed the most delightful meal we had in France. I had the guinea fowl in a gruyere sauce with carmelized pears and black pepper, truly memorable. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!

Booked this restaurant online before arriving to stay for a week in the area, and so glad we did best place we ate all week, so good we went back on our last night! The service was really friendly and helpful, and the food...was very nice local rustic dishes, absolutely delicious. The wild boar stew and the homemade tart of the day were both so tasty. Very reasonable prices. Well worth seeking out, we will definitely go back if in the area again.

Excellente surprise pour ce restaurant à l'ambiance familiale. Nos papilles ont été émoustillées par toutes les saveurs proposées. Les prix sont également tout à fait démocratiques. Vraiment une super expérience.

Que du bonheur... tout est bon , beau et surtout FRAIS... La patronne aux fourneaux... une merveilleuse découverte pour nos papilles... merciiii
