We chose this creperie as it had a lovely setting by the lake and the prices were reasonable. There were a few tables occupied but it was not very busy so we assumed a quick bite to eat would be possible. There were 6 in our group, but we had to sit at 2 separate tables as the big table was already being used. So half our group were given a menu. After about 10 minutes their order was taken, and the menus were handed across to us. There was no choice to all order together. Another 10 minutes, the first of our drinks came out, but they didn't take the order from our second table for another 10 minutes. Once we had all finally got a drink, it was another long wait for any food to appear, and when it did, it was mediocre at best. A tomato galette was literally a plain crepe with a smear of tomato puree on it, no actual tomato, no attempt at presenting it nicely. One of us asked for a salad, to be told there was none available. Then as we were finishing up, another table ordered and received salads! During the whole time we were there, another table appeared to have been completely forgotten or ignored. And finally, this is the only cafe or restaurant I have been to in France, where we had to go inside and ask for the bill. If we hadn't done so, I think we would still be sat there now, waiting.

I've visited this creperie a few times over the years and have had mediocre food and tolerated the lacklustre service as the location by the lake is great. My last visit in August 13 will be my last though. I sat at the virtually empty outdoor seating area where two other French families were eating with my family at 1pm on a Saturday. A lady promptly arrived to tell me that we would not be served food despite delivering food to another table at the same time. No real reason given only that the six of us should go somewhere else. I rarely give negative reviews but this place took the idea of bad service to a whole new level.

Wholly shambolic. The lady serving list track of our order, and had to be reminded several times. Our order arrived in fits and starts. The crepes were ok, and the ice cream was lovely, indeed all the food and drinks were fine, but what should have been a really straightforward snack was reduced to a farce because the people waiting seemed completely confused by the most simple of requests. Shame, as it's a great spot, overlooking the lake, but I'll avoid it like the plague next time we are there, and I'd suggest anyone else does too. Oh, and we also reckon we were overcharged by about 17.%

We ordered the daily menu and after 40 mins approx we received our first course. We then waited an interminable time for our next cours. The children were hungry and irritable. Eventually we gave up and went in to pay for the food we had eaten. The owner immediately started shouting most rudely, insisting we pay for the whole menu. We made an estimate of the cost and left. The owner then chased us down the street and pinned my wife against a wall so I had to restrain her. This woman should not be in the restaurant business.
