Le Moulin De Mitou

Arriving by chance and in an emergency following an air conditioning failure in a previous accommodation, we were happy to find refuge in this magnificent place that is the Moulin de Mitou. A peaceful, calm, green place in the heart of a large park where you can go and chat with Nesquick and Brune, the goats who guard the estate. You can enjoy the swimming pool at your leisure, relax there after returning from your visits or simply have an aperitif, you have deckchair, parasol and towels available. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, if you need somewhere to stay in the area, do consider here. Not only is the setting beautiful, the rooms very clean and well appointed, reasonably priced, the food good and wine menu excellent… It’s actually the incredibly personal attention that you get from the whole team that is extra special . We arrived on a day that had been very rainy and a small glimmer of sun came out in the evening. They set us up a little table on the patio, brought us drinks and menus and starters so that we could enjoy every last drop of sun. They didn’t have to do that, but it was white linen and the works! Fabulous place.

Endroit parfait pour ce déjeuner en famille à l'occasion d'un anniversaire. L'accueil était agréable et le service efficace et souriant. Nous avions, en choix d'entrée, l'inévitable foie gras ou la crème de Girolles et oeuf mollet que j'ai particulièrement appréciée. Ensuite nous avons savouré un délicieux gigot de 7 heures, ce qui était une bonne idée pour nous éloigner un peu du traditionnel canard. Bref, un excellent moment en famille sur cette terrasse pas trop fréquentée pour un mois de Juillet.

we stayed at the mitou mill via a wonderbox box. perfect at any point: charming hotel ideally located in perigord, professional and warm welcome, spacious and comfortable rooms, rustic decor, high-end bathrooms. The restaurant's cuisine is excellent, local, generous and gourmet. Breakfast is also very good. We spent a wonderful stay and will return to the mitou mill with great pleasure. Don't miss this magnificent place. A true haven of peace in a very pleasant setting. Very friendly place, the owners are very welcoming, accommodating with incredible sympathy. A very good place to unwind and get a change of scenery. Very clean room, very well appointed swimming pool area. We were able to enjoy a very good meal on a magnificent terrace.

A lovely hotel with a wonderful restaurant. The meals where beautifully presented and all made from fresh local producers. The gardens and swimming pool where very clean and tidy. The owners and young waitress worked very hard to make sure we had everything we needed, together with an extra special surprise for our anniversary. Will definitely return.

Très bel endroit, très bon accueil. Repas comprenant une viande excellente, un foie gras chaud très bon et desserts corrects, légumes peut être juste en quantité pour les adultes jeunes, Bilan positif.
