We booked for a large group lunch which the restaurant accepted, we did change our booking the day before from noon to 2pm which they also agreed to. However when we arrived for lunch, they told one half of the group they were expecting us at noon and the other half of the group (who arrived early) they told we were expecting you at 2pm. Then they refused to take ANY orders, even for water. We eventually went to help ourselves from a waiters table to some glasses and bottles of water. They refused to take any orders for food, they ignored us not twice but about five times. after 1 hour they took our food order and brought us some Rose. Visited 5 out of 6 days. Had a Fillet de Boeuf 3 times. It's a fillet steak served rare or blue on a hot stone which keeps it hot and allows you to further cook each bite if required. The meet was top quality. I also tried tuna. Equally good. The food in Verbier is either really good or terrible, so we opted in for really good whenever possible and Cuckoo delivered consistently. We had our Christmas lunch here and came back most days until New Year. The sunny terrace and great wines against crowded lifts - meant we spend there hours each day. The atmosphere is great, but be warned: it's a ski fashion hotspot - so put on your best ski suit and enjoy the party!

Part of our group put in reservations for the table service  part of the restaurant. Even though they had emailed their selections ahead of time, the restaurant claimed it did not receive them. The group ended up joining the rest of us in the self-service part which is the lower deck. It has the same high quality food at way faster service, and the same great view. We were halfway through our meal before the others came down after abandoning the table service.

Good Music, good view, but they should get a New chef for the 8 main courses they serve. No taste litterally in their dryed out risotto. Ordered a salat for a vegetarian "without bacon" and the salat came with bacon bits and bacon Oil. Michelin recommended prices and would choose a good buffet any day over this food. DO NOT GO - this is the worst place in verbier. It might be the worst service in Europe. There are so many good options like Dahu and la Vache, why waste your time here. This is literally a place that modern etiquette forgot. In my entire life I have never seen such rude awful staff. You might as well burn your money

What a pleasure! michel and all his team are in the care of us. we feel like we're home.la map is delicious as wines and always a simple relaxed atmosphere but always with rigor and professionalism. You've all been robbing for a week.

The place is beautiful with a large terrace! nice to drink a drink with dj! on the other hand, the worst cheese crust ever eaten and it is not complicated to do! even the waiters were ashamed to serve these dishes!

Rude wait staff, food is average not great. WAY OVER PRICED. Sure it was a good view, but doesn't every mountain restaurant.
