Stumbled across this place while hiking in the area. Was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. Location, surroundings, comfort, service and especially the delicious food are all 5-star worthy! We tried the cholera (unfortunate name for an outstanding leek, potato, cheese tart) and a cheesy potato dish with bacon and egg on top- also delicious. This is not a fancy restaurant. We ate outside on a hot day, under a shade umbrella. The walk through the restaurant to reach the WC showed a well-worn but clean old building filled with charm and old mountain- related art.
Not much of a person that writes reviews but the service, the good food tried 3 dishes (Fondue, tart and veal sausage) and how well kept the place is deserve a review. After a lovely family hike we decided to stop at Namaste. We were the greeted with a big smile and helpful lady who next only tris to get us shade but was very kind. If you are in Verbier on a nice clear day Namaste is a must. You shall not regret it. If you have young children its perfect as they have where to play and run around safely
We enjoyed a very nice lunch here after a long walk from Les Ruinettes. Please, make advance reservations as the terrace has only a couple of tables. The location is sensational. The food is very, very good. It feels like being Heidi and Peter here and if time stands still. We go back in a heartbeat. Serivice is not that well. One man is taking all the orders and is too occupied to look well after his clients. This should be improved.
We came with our friends who are loyal customers, expectations were high and we were not deceived. Accommodating for kids and dogs, the service is agréable, food is awesome, products of top quality, traditional Swiss cuisine with the special Namaste touch. Very nice atmosphere and lovely decoration, stunning views. Highly recommended!
