by this Sunday of March, our walk took us to the marcelly pool in thônex. We decided to take our lunch in this restaurant adjoining the basins.Some steps and we enter a well-organized room with tables next to large windows to see the covered basin. there is a terrace for the used pool and a terrace for other guests. the restaurant is not very large, but is pleasant. The welcome is friendly and makes you want to settle for a good lunch. staff stay attentive throughout the meal, which is very pleasant. This restaurant in the neighborhood is located within the public pool of Thônex in an attractive and well maintained garden, outdoor pool and indoor pool area. The owners/managers are Portuguese and offer Portuguese dishes as well as standard Swiss dishes such as cheese fondue and...Fleischfondues. The outdoor table area is well protected by parasols and the location is very pleasant with views of the outdoor swimming pool. The restaurant is open all year round. The toilets were perfectly clean and well maintained. Note that if you order meat fondue (e.g. Bouruignonne), they will bring beef, chicken and horse meat pieces.
