Beautiful discovery in the fishing port of Lorient with this restaurant Le Neptune has been located here for several years but has been run since June by the new owners. Meals à la carte and a choice of deliberately limited dishes in the menu but very eclectic makes us discover many rim flavors of freshness for a true gustative pleasure. We chose a sea-style wind flight with small seasonal vegetables and a duck back and a roasted foie gras that we enjoyed. The dessert is high with a rum baba served at the table with the amount of alcohol chosen by the customer and the unexpected thing, the rest of the bottle available and a chocolate marrow with pears and caramel ice cream. The reception is hot, the very professional service with natural contact vis to the customer. The prices are reasonable, the wine map is particularly elaborate and very affordable, a soft and discreet atmosphere music comes to convince us, Le Neptune is a sure value on which to count in the Lorient landscape.
I had a few addresses on Lorient, but this restaurant became our best seller. Carefully prepared dishes. Fresh products, blends of beautiful flavors. Made with great care. We didn't leave anything! The welcome is great coming, the very professional waitress, we were treated in small care. The seafood tray, served with a magical salad and bravo for the originality of the chef! all with a really adjusted price. Delicious wines. The glasses are served in front of you. The hygiene of this place is irreproachable. Professional of gastronomic cuisine, I'm really surprised. It is so pleasant to eat well, in a simple and serene place. Thanks to this family. We'll talk about you, and we'll be back! Nice discovery! I suggest you leave!
What a pleasure to discover the Neptune. The new owners: Anne-Lise and Olivier are friendly, dynamic and professional. Their team, waitress and apprentice cook, is in their image. The dishes are a treat! Local and seasonal products are perfectly cooked. The price quality ratio is excellent. The portions are perfect: neither too much nor too little. The restaurant room is bright, remade with great taste and noble materials. Thanks to the Neptune team for this so pleasant evening.
