We usually stay and eat in a different area of Fecamp but I was a bit disorganised this trip and we had to stay and eat just off the main square.Le Nomades is a genuine North African restaurant with tagines and couscous and selected Algerian and Moroccan wines. We both had couscous - a Royale with a variety of meats and one with just meatballs - both excellent and the closest we've ever come to spicy food in France outside of friends' kitchens. We went to Le Nomade on January 1st for a warm hearty meal and we were directly transported to the Maghreb. The restaurant is nicely decorated although a bit kitsch. On the night we went there the service was slow, it seems as the owner was acting as cook and helping the other waiter attending the clients. The food was more than well worth the wait and the first quite sour (maybe stressed?) owner warmed up and became chatty and friendly by the end of our meal.I had a plain couscous with vegetables and my boyfriend had a Couscous Royal. The vegetables were good and the semolina was succulent. The meat was perfectly cooked and according to my boyfriend the kefta was one of the best he had ever ha...

We went first. January to Le Nomade for a warm hearty meal and were transported directly to the Maghreb. The restaurant is nicely decorated, although a bit cheesy. The night we went there, the service was slow, it seems as the owner... was as a chef and helped the other waiter with the customers. The food was more than good waiting and the first quite sour (can be stressed? Owner warmed and became smart and friendly at the end of our meal. I had a simple cousin with vegetables and my friend had a Couscous Royal. The vegetables were good and the Semolina was sakulent. The meat was perfectly cooked and after my friend the Kefta was one of the best he ever had. The bill ended at 58€ including p...
