Having managed to forget a packed lunch for our hike up Pic de Loup, we were pretty starving by the time we reached Grau du Roi. So, with a recommendation from a local fruit seller, we headed to Le Palangre for dinner. We ate the fish soup, followed by bream with potato and vegetables, and then ice cream to finish. Overall, it was a tasty meal that hit the spot. We also ordered a bottle of local red wine which went well with everything. Nothing excelled in particular, but it was all cooked well and arrived in a well-presented fashion. Our waiter, Fred, was attentive and friendly, if a little rehearsed! Given the location and the price, there was nothing to complain about, but nothing to come...
Great food, great service and not expensive ! Staff and owner were friendly. We had great seafood and tasty swordfish. Side dishes were also very good and a local excellent Chardonnay. Definitely will come back!
