Le Paradis du Fruit

We went to "Le paradis du Fruit" for lunch. The place was not particularly crowded but we still had to with over 20 minutes for a waiter to show up and take our order. I got a chicken caesar salad and a mango daiquiri. I guess they had some trouble in the kitchen because, in the salad, there were only three invisible pieces of chicken while the caesar dressing was awol. Things were no better at the bar because, despite the smallest daiquiri glass I have ever seen, they managed somehow to miss the rhum. On the other end they, after going cheap on chicken, dressing and alcohol, the decided to become expensive with the check. 23 Euro and some cents for, basically, some lettuce and some juice.

We stopped here for a "healthy' lunch. We both had a salad that came with two dressings and fried mushrooms. I chose the chicken which consisted 3 strips of pan fried chicken breast. Tasty enough but nothing special. Was ok. The menu offers up a number of combinations for you to select from but again, they all had oil or cheese or both. It was busy so they're obviously doing something right. Maybe it's just a hip place to be.

We spent the day shopping and, because we had a veggie with us, we needed somewhere for lunch which provided us with a good variety of options. We had a delicious, relaxed lunch and enjoyed a wide range of freshly prepared food. The fruit juices are delicious. We'll be back!

Upon arriving we had to wait a couple of minutes to be seated even though it was not busy. We waited and waited to have our order taken. People who arrived after us had their order taken before us. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Service needs to be improved.

It's really cool to be able to eat healthy, good and for an affordable price.
