I dined alone at this place on a week's visit to Versailles, after walking around in the rain looking for an inviting spot for a single diner. I walked in and said, "Only me!" and the server said that I was no less welcome for that. The 15 euro meal was great - steak au poivre, corn salad, fried potatoes, glass of red - cooked perfectly, hit the spot on a raw wet evening. The crowd was fun, low-key, everyone looked like they were having a great time.
We ate here twice in two days! Great place for lunch. All freshly made food and the fact that the place was packed with locals underlined the place was good. Croque Monsieur/Madame, tartes (quiches) were delicious, puddings were good. Great value for money. The guy who owns it does all the waiting as well so some may feel the service is a little slow but the restaurant was packed and we were in no rush.
My sister, daughter and I are from the United States and have very picky tastes! We had a wonderful relaxing dinner and drinks at this adorable little French restaurant! The food was delicious and the wine and champagne was excellent but most of all the staff were so kind and attentive to all our needs! They made us feel like we were Parisian! Small menu but very very good and the price was great!!
Very pleasant staff, food quality is above average for the city, and the price/quality is definitely what makes it unskippable if you're in Versailles's whereabouts. Reserva una mesa ahora
I have eaten here twice and admittedly are the same thing both times which is a testament to how good the eggs with smoked salmon were! On the negative
After running around Versailles all day, we were looking for somewhere that was open ( since it was that weird time after lunch but before dinner )
Recommended. Great food, surroundings and service. Chocolate fondant was just superb to finish a great meal and wine served was amazing too.
