"If you 're hoping for decent service and food, make sure you don 't look like a tourist. If you do, you 'll get industrial bread while locals get better (and fresh) one. My melting piece of beef was burnt to crisp and the crab rilllette was drowned in cream. The service was awful with the old couple of owners constantly quarreling in front of the guests and repeatedly addressing their young help in an aggressive manner. To be avoided at all costs!"

Hadn't booked in advance so had to sit outside. Bit cold but at least there was the cathedral to look at! Service was awful. Limited choice and overpriced. My daughter's meal came quickly but then it was another 10 mins or so before my son's and then after another while mine and then eventually my husband's- his meal arrived about 40 mins after hers! Missing his side order. Asked and it arrived after a bit more waiting (the table beside us were also missing a side dish). Didn't have time to wait for the ice cream that was part of my son's child's meal, by then we were in a hurry to the airport! My husband went in to use the loo and was told he couldn't and was sent to use the ones in the tou...

Never again!!! Ten of us sat down to eat in this restaurant. The chef was struggling to keep food cooking in torrential rain!!! When we asked after an hour how long the food would be the proprietor shrugged his shoulders and said maybe four minutes. By now all food had been taken to the kitchen to be cooked. When we eventually got food after 90 minutes not only was it cold but totally undercooked. We called over a waitress and asked for it to be replaced. We were very polite and felt sorry for the girl. The proprietor came over and we explained the situation His reply was stop crying, you English are always the same!! Nothing but trouble We couldn 't believe what he said. We decided to leave...

We reserved a table for a Saturday lunchtime at this restaurants as we were a party of 12. It's in a great location, right by the cathedral. There's a large menu but the à la carte dishes are expensive: around €20 or more for a main course. There's a fixed menu too but two of the five options were not available. On a sunny Saturday lunchtime at Easter? The service was odd: if I'm being positive then it was idiosyncratic and fun, but if I'm being negative then it was inattentive and chaotic. The food was nothing special, we had a much better meal at a brasserie in Peronne just a couple of days later for a lower price. So it's not a bad place, and has a great location, but nothing special

The cathedral fills the view if eating on the terrace. First night, friendly, helpful server. Food tasty enough to come back. A bit more expensive but, there is the sunset happening on that magnificent cathedral wall while you're eating!!.... Second night, the owner took exception to the fact I refused to sit next to a noisy machine on the terrace. Rude, noisy, somewhat off putting and embarrassing.... But we sat at a quiet table, excellent waitress and along comes a big flute of champagne, from our owner! And later...cherries in kirsch. Both nights all our dishes were very tasty and service, with the one exception, fine. I'd eat here again
