It's hard to know when the restaurant is actually open as we attempted to go a couple of times and found it closed at night. Last attempt was a Saturday evening also however by chance we walked passed recently and it was open. They really should display the hours outside. The waitress was friendly and welcoming and the menu was ok. Nothing leapt out to excite me however I opted for the confit of duck. It came served with sautéed potatoes and both were nice enough. A green salad or vegetable side was needed to break up the richness and had I known I would have opted for this.
It's hard pushed finding somewhere open in Castelsarrassin and the opening hours of many places aren't displayed. This was our 2nd visit and the patio seating area is very nice. We took our dog along and they were very welcoming. Not the most inspiring menu and the usual fail safes there such as a house burger and confit duck which I had. It was a little dry and I suspect pre made but overll pleasant enough and good value overall.
There is very pleasant outdoor seating, but the food was quite disappointing. The fries were greasy and limp. The burgers had what looked like velvet in addition to whatever other cheese they came with. The potato galette in the burger would make more sense if there was some salad instead of the fries. The burger itself was overcooked and dry. We enjoyed the Perrier.
Very good sharing moment I recommend Sandra very welcoming however I think at the decor level it would be nice to bring a little warm in this large restaurant room a little wood will bring a cozy side too cold too much plastic regarding Sandra's kindness.
