Le Pavillon Bleu

This hotel is honestly not even worth a star. I don't like writing bad reviews but I feel like everyone needs to know not to stay here. The rooms are totally different to what they look on the website, there is ZERO ventilation in the room even with windows open, but when you do open the windows there is so much noise from the road and restaurant that it makes sleeping completely impossible. I cannot believe it costs what it does. The bathroom ressembles a porter loo that has been inserted into the room. Of course these pictures are nowhere to be seen on the website The only good thing about it is the location next to the beach, the rest is truly terrible. Also the location next to the beach can be a downfall as it seems to be a party place for a load of drink teenagers. Do not stay here

Awful place to stay. Absolute con to pay as much as you do for this place. Had to leave days early as it was so bad without any apology or care from the manager. There was so much frying going on that it felt as if you were in the kitchen of a McDonald's. Limited ventilation in the rooms so the air was hot and stagnant. The bathrooms were similar to portaloos found at festivals. Hotel situated on a busy roundabout so constant noise of cars throughout the night. Food was ok but the desserts were definitely bought from the supermarket. Proximity to the beach the only redeeming feature and even then it meant all the local teenagers hung out around there throughout the night. Avoid this place at all costs.

It was the first time I have ever visited Cape Ferret but it was my girlfriend who recommended Le Pavillon Bleu. Although the rooms are not very large, they are clean and the beds were very comfortable with lovely linens. We ended up eating all our meals at the hotel restaurant as the food was delicious, well presented, and not over priced. The wines offered were reasonably price and excellent. The owner was very pleasant and staff were very accommodating and efficient. Last very positive point was that the hotel was located only mins walk to the beach.
