Le Petit Bacalan - Reservar una mesa

We visited here after our visit to the nearby Chateau Argassac. It is perfectly situated on a little side street off the main road with ample outdoor shaded tables.Pizza was not available at lunchtimes but with the help of the marvellous waitress (who assisted with my very poor French) we ordered from the Menu Du Jour. Not an abundance of choice but what we had was freshly prepared and very flavoursome. Being vegetarian the restaurant prepared a simple selection of salad with rice. Desserts were divine!Extremely reasonable (EUR16 per person for 3 courses with wine.) Would definitely recommend

We stopped here one evening after visiting wineries in Pauillac. Mostly pizza and salads, but everything was fresh, delicious with very friendly service. The desserts made in house were incredibly good.
